3.8% Growth in Domestic Sales, 1.0% Increase Overseas
Hyundai Motor sold 358,891 vehicles in the global market last month, marking a 1.5% increase compared to the same month last year.
Domestic sales reached 62,064 units, up 3.8%, while overseas sales rose by 1.0% to 296,827 units.
Hyundai Motor sold 62,064 units in the domestic market, representing a 3.8% increase year-on-year. Among sedans, the Grandeur recorded 5,579 units, the Sonata 4,216 units, and the Avante 7,485 units, totaling 17,954 units.
For recreational vehicles (RVs), sales included 5,471 units of the Palisade, 5,443 units of the Santa Fe, 4,453 units of the Tucson, 2,958 units of the Kona, and 1,205 units of the Casper, for a total of 22,922 units. The Porter recorded 4,352 units sold, and the Staria reached 3,800 units, while medium and large buses and trucks accounted for a total of 2,505 units.
The luxury brand Genesis sold 3,544 units of the G80, 2,954 units of the GV80, and 3,002 units of the GV70, totaling 10,454 units.
A Hyundai Motor official stated, "Sales increased both domestically and overseas due to the expansion of various model lineups," adding, "We will continue to maintain sales momentum by launching competitive new models in the future."
