On July 1, just nine months into his term, Prosecutor General Shim Woojung tendered his resignation. On this day, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office building in Seocho-gu, Seoul, appears distorted when viewed through a sculpture on the premises. The Special Investigation Team on Insurrection plans to investigate Prosecutor General Shim Woojung on charges including abuse of authority, after he decided not to file an immediate appeal following the cancellation of former President Yoon Sukyeol's arrest.
