Suwon Nambu Fire Station Conducts Special Vehicle Operation Training for High-Rise Fires Until July 16

Suwon Nambu Fire Station in Gyeonggi Province is conducting special vehicle function operation training for fire personnel who operate ladder trucks, including aerial ladder trucks and articulated vehicles, until July 16.

This training focuses on mastering the operation of ladder trucks and understanding vehicle operation equipment, with the goal of enabling rapid rescue of people during high-rise building fires.

Theoretical and practical training is being conducted by Everdigm, a fire truck manufacturing company. In addition, on-site adaptation training is being held at fire safety targets within the jurisdiction that require the installation of fire facilities.

The main subjects of the training include: ▲methods for operating and inspecting ladder trucks, ▲emergency operation procedures for ladder trucks, and ▲on-site adaptation training at fire safety targets within the jurisdiction.

Ko Youngju, Chief of Suwon Nambu Fire Station, stated, "Rescue operations in high-rise buildings are a race against time. The proficiency of personnel in operating ladder trucks accurately and swiftly is directly linked to the lives of citizens, which is why special vehicle function operation training is so important."

Suwon Nambu Fire Station plans to continue conducting regular ladder truck training and equipment inspections to respond to fires and rescue situations in high-rise buildings.
