32 Lectures to Guide Next Year's Business Planning
Keynote Speeches by Professor Kim Saejik and Former LG Energy Solution Vice Chairman Kwon Youngsoo
Hunet announced on July 1 that it will host the "Hunet CEO Forum - Foresight Korea 2026" at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on September 30.
"Foresight Korea" is a forum designed for corporate executives and decision-makers, presenting key management issues and strategies necessary for establishing business plans for the coming year. The event is organized to provide practical and timely insights through lectures by domestic and international experts at a time when companies are preparing their management strategies for the following year. At the inaugural event held last year, more than 1,000 executives and operational leaders from over 500 companies attended, drawing significant attention.
This year's forum is themed "Peak Korea, Rewriting Management: The Formula for Success in a New Order." The event aims to present new strategies for survival and growth amid a period of structural transformation faced by Korean companies, including a sharp population decline, the restructuring of order based on artificial intelligence (AI), and changes in the industrial ecosystem centered on big tech.
The keynote speeches will be divided into two sessions representing academia and the business sector, introducing both the era's changes and the corresponding corporate response strategies. First, Kim Saejik, professor of economics at Seoul National University, will diagnose the changes in the global economic order and the structural limitations of Korean society under the theme "Peak Korea: Korea at Its Peak," and will propose new strategies and management philosophies for sustainable growth.
Next, Kwon Youngsoo, former Vice Chairman of LG Energy Solution, will share practical management solutions under the theme "Rewriting Management: The Formula for Success in a New Order." He will address topics such as the AI revolution, competition centered on big tech, new leadership models amid global political change, board-centered governance, organizational innovation, and talent rebalancing.
This forum will feature a total of 32 sessions across five tracks, including keynote speeches: ▲Economy & International Affairs ▲Management Strategy & Innovation ▲Marketing ▲Organization, HR & Leadership ▲Tech. Major track sessions include "2026 Korean Economic Outlook," "A New Framework for Business Strategy," "2026 Korea Consumer Keywords," and "AI-Driven Organization & Talent Management."
Jo Youngtak, CEO of Hunet, stated, "We are now in an era of reset, where we must redefine the essence of corporate management amid a period of great transformation," adding, "This forum will go beyond simply introducing trends and will provide the most practical and concrete insights for companies preparing their 2026 business strategies."
The forum will be held both offline and via live online streaming, and participants can register on the Hunet website. Those who register by August 15 will receive a 40% early bird discount.
