On June 30, Chungnam Technopark held the entrance ceremony for the "2025 Regional and Industry Customized Workforce Training Project Unity Utilization Immersive (AR/VR) Content Production Training Course" at the Knowledge Information Center of Namseoul University.
The event was attended by Lim Eungsoon, Director of the Industrial Human Resources Development Center at Chungnam TP, Seo Donghee, Head of the Department of Virtual Reality at Namseoul University, and approximately 30 trainees of the training course.
The Unity Utilization Immersive (AR/VR) Content Production Training Course is one of 15 programs in the 2025 Chungnam Technopark Regional and Industry Customized Workforce Training Project, targeting unemployed individuals (including those expecting to graduate) in the Chungnam region.
The training course provides both theoretical and practical education on AR/VR content production, including an introduction to the metaverse and AR UI·UX design. The program runs for four months (480 hours) from this day until October 24. Upon completion, support is also provided for job placement with related companies.
Lim Eungsoon, Director of the Industrial Human Resources Development Center at Chungnam TP, stated, "This course has been designed with a company-customized curriculum and instructors with extensive practical experience to foster talent with hands-on capabilities in the AR/VR field. We will continue to closely collaborate with local industry, academia, and research institutions to strengthen workforce development in the Chungnam region, so that this training can greatly assist trainees in successful employment and career planning."
