Tway Air Launches Pokemon Blanket and Badge Merchandise for Online Purchase

"More Merchandise to Be Released Soon"

On July 1, Tway Air announced that it will begin selling new Pokemon merchandise online.

Previously, Pokemon merchandise was only available for purchase on international flights. Now, all passengers, including those on domestic flights, can easily buy these items online.

The newly released merchandise includes the Pokemon blanket pouch (Catch Your Blanket) and the hinge badge (Catch Your Mystery Badge). The Pokemon blanket pouch features a soft and subtle ivory color with an adorable Pikachu pattern as an accent. Its generous size makes it ideal for use on board.

The hinge badge offers a random selection of six different Pokemon: Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee, Jigglypuff, and Bulbasaur. The badge is designed with a hinge that mimics an airplane window, adding an element of fun when opening and closing it.

In December 2022, Tway Air became the first Korean airline to sign a partnership with The Pokemon Company, introducing the Pokemon-themed aircraft "Pikachu Jet TW." Since 2023, the airline has operated its own online shop to commemorate the operation of the "Pikachu Jet TW." Through this platform, Tway Air has offered a variety of Pokemon merchandise, including model airplanes (B737), blanket pouches, metal keyrings, and gel pen sets.

A Tway Air representative stated, "Thanks to the enthusiastic support and love from our customers, we have released these new Pokemon goods. We plan to continue actively reflecting customer needs by holding various events in the future."
