Gwangju Bank Offers GS Pay Discount Coupons for Kia Champions Card Issuance Wa! Exciting Benefit Event That Makes You Say Wow

Gwangju Bank announced on July 1 that it will be holding the "Wa! Exciting Benefit Event That Makes You Say Wow" in collaboration with GS Retail until September 30.

This event is open to customers who receive a "Kia Champions Card" through non-face-to-face channels during the event period. Benefits will be provided to the first 2,000 customers who are either first-time new credit card customers of Gwangju Bank or have no payment history in the six months prior to the card issuance month.

Customers who meet the event conditions will be automatically entered without a separate application. Each eligible customer will receive four GS Pay 3,000 won discount coupons, which can be used at approximately 19,000 GS25 offline convenience stores nationwide. The coupons will be distributed in bulk at the beginning of the month following the card issuance month.

For more details about the event, customers can visit a nearby branch, check the GwangjuWaBank app, the Gwangju Bank website, or the KJ Card Help Center.

Meanwhile, the "Kia Champions Card" was launched to celebrate the KIA Tigers’ 13th championship (V13) in 2025. The card is attracting significant interest from dedicated KIA Tigers fans, with not only a surge in additional issuances among existing credit card holders but also a new issuance ratio exceeding 77%, thanks to various card benefits.

Key benefits include a killer service offering up to 5,000 won off admission to Gwangju-Kia Champions Field with no minimum spending requirement in the previous month. Cardholders can also enjoy discounts at the stadium team store, F&B outlets, convenience stores, everyday business categories, the five major amusement parks, and family restaurants.

Song Seokhyeon, Head of Gwangju Bank's Digital Finance Center, said, "We are continuously expanding collaborations between financial and non-financial sectors to provide a wide range of benefits closely aligned with customers’ lifestyles," adding, "We will continue to actively discover partnership services that can further enhance customers’ real satisfaction."
