At the ordination ceremony, a total of 32 deacons from around the world, including the two deacons, were ordained as priests. The ordination ceremony was held on the last day of the 'Jubilee for Priests,' which took place from June 25 to 27 at the Vatican, coinciding with the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

During the 'Jubilee for Priests,' priests and deacons from around the world participated in catechesis and gatherings led by bishops at 12 churches in Rome. On June 26, they also attended a Mass celebrated by Cardinal Lazarus You Heung-sik, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Clergy.

Father Lee Jaehyun received his master's degree in biblical theology from the Pontifical Urbaniana University, and Father Ham Hyunjun earned his master's degree in dogmatic theology from the same university before being ordained as priests.

Their first Mass after ordination was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on June 29 at the Pontifical Korean College in Rome. Approximately 40 priests, including Monsignor Jung Yeonjeong, Rector of the Pontifical Korean College in Rome; Monsignor Han Hyuntaek of the Dicastery for Evangelization; Father Min Beomsik, Rector of Seoul Catholic Seminary; Father Yeom Gicheol, Pastor of Yangcheon Parish; Father Shim Uk, Pastor of Daechi Seongmo Tanshin Parish; and Father Lee Cheolhee, Pastor of Myeonmokdong Parish and uncle of Father Lee Jaehyun, were present to celebrate the new priests' first Mass. Around 150 faithful from Korea and abroad also attended.

With this ordination, the two priests will begin their pastoral ministry as members of the Archdiocese of Seoul.
