According to the center on July 1, the microorganisms being supplied are Bacillus subtilis, photosynthetic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, yeast, and mixed bacteria. These not only reduce the amount of fertilizer required but are also highly effective in suppressing pests and diseases, thereby supporting healthy crop growth. In particular, they are useful in increasing resistance to various plant diseases that frequently occur during the rainy season, helping to prevent crop diseases.

The recommended usage is to dilute the microorganisms 200 to 500 times and spray them on crops every 7 to 10 days. Mixing them with pesticides should be avoided. To make it easier for farmers to use, the city distributes the microorganisms directly at the cultivation lab on site. Farmers who wish to receive the supply can visit the Beneficial Microorganism Cultivation Lab at the Agricultural Technology Center with their Agricultural Management Registration Certificate and a container to apply.

An official from the center stated, "As crop damage caused by abnormal weather is increasing, we hope that farmers will actively use beneficial microorganisms to reduce crop stress and prevent diseases." The official added, "We will continue to strengthen field-oriented, customized support to actively assist stable production activities for farms."
