The group BTS will release a live album capturing moments shared with 4 million ARMY (the name of their fandom) around the world, their agency Big Hit Music announced on July 1.
BTS will unveil their concert live album, 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LIVE,' at 1:00 p.m. on July 18. This is BTS's first-ever live album, featuring a total of 22 tracks performed during the tour of the same name held from 2021 to 2022, including 'ON,' 'FIRE,' 'DOPE,' and 'IDOL.' The album delivers the atmosphere of the actual concerts, capturing BTS's live vocals, the cheers of the audience, and the excitement of the moment.
Big Hit Music stated, "We hope this album will serve as an opportunity to relive the memories of 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE,'" and added, "We wish that every moment shared with BTS will shine in the hearts of fans for a long time."
The 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE' tour was held a total of 12 times in three locations: Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. The concerts were held in various formats, including in-person performances, online live streaming, live viewing, and live play, attracting 4 million audience members. BTS became the first Korean artist to perform at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, setting a new milestone in the global concert market.
