Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on July 1 that it will recruit tenants for approximately 13,000 units of for-sale and rental housing in the third quarter of this year.
The for-sale housing supply amounts to 7,700 units. This month, a total of 2,177 units, including public for-sale housing and Newlywed Hope Town units, will be supplied in the Namyangju Wangsuk district. In the Namyangju Jinjeop 2 district, 1,175 units (Newlywed Hope and public for-sale housing) will be offered, and in the Guri Galmae Station Area district, 1,182 units (Newlywed Hope) will be supplied. In the Hwaseong Dongtan 2 district, public rental housing with a six-year conversion to for-sale is being supplied for the first time.
In August, 538 units (public for-sale housing) will be supplied in the Uijeongbu Ujeong district, and 686 units (Newlywed Hope) in the Gwacheon Juam district. In September, 295 units in the Wonju Musil district in Gangwon, 405 units in Namyangju Jinjeop 2 district, and 277 units in Ulsan Taehwagangbyeon district will be supplied as public for-sale housing. In the Siheung Hajung district in Gyeonggi Province, 390 units will be offered as Newlywed Hope Town.
In September, approximately 3,500 units of purchase-rental housing for young people without homes and newlywed couples will be supplied nationwide. Youth purchase-rental housing is available to young people aged 19 to 39, university students, and job seekers, at 40% to 50% of the market rate in the area. Newlywed and newborn purchase-rental housing is available to newlywed couples (including engaged couples) within seven years of marriage, with rent set at 30% to 40% or 70% to 80% of the market rate depending on the type.
Construction rental housing will be supplied in approximately 2,100 units. This includes 1,000 units of National Rental Housing, 1,100 units of Happy Housing, and 80 units of Integrated Public Rental Housing. Of these, 1,400 units will be supplied in the Seoul metropolitan area, and 752 units in other regions. Applications are currently being accepted for lease-rental housing for youth, newlyweds, newborns, and multi-child families, and applications will be open until the end of the year. For existing home lease-rental housing, applications can be submitted to the relevant local government from July 14 to July 21.
