On July 1, the Sejong City government announced that it will launch customized joint marketing campaigns for each commercial district, starting this month with the Dodam and Naseong food alley business districts.

The city will convert the "joint marketing project by commercial district," which was originally a merchants' association subsidy program, into a city-led initiative. Various customized support measures reflecting the unique characteristics of each district will be implemented. The city plans to accept applications from areas without established merchants' associations as well, and to support a total of 10 locations, an increase from 7 last year.

This project will run for four months starting this month. Beginning with Dodam and Naseong, it will be rolled out sequentially across the entire city of Sejong, including Jochiwon, Areum, Haemil, Naseong (Urban Atrium), Hansol, and Daepyeong Market in Geumnam-myeon. The event at Dodam and Naseong food alleys, which starts on July 1 and continues until supplies run out, is designed as a customer appreciation event for citizens who frequently visit these shopping areas.

First, at Dodam-dong food alley, the "Dodam-dong Day and Night" event will offer reusable cups (tumblers) to visitors who use three or more different businesses and receive stamps from each. The Dodam-dong Food Alley Merchants' Association also plans to offer additional discounts and other benefits to customers who receive their 5th and 10th stamps, with the specific benefits varying by store.

On the same day, at Naseong-dong food alley, the Naseong-dong Shopping District Merchants' Association will host the "Naseong Night Street: Get a Gift with Your Receipt and Enter to Win a Prize" event. Customers who collect five receipts for purchases of 30,000 won or more will receive a drip coffee set. When picking up the gift, customers can also enter a prize drawing for a chance to win Onnuri gift certificates.

A city official stated, "We hope this project will provide new opportunities for small business owners who are struggling due to the economic downturn," and added, "We encourage all citizens to actively participate and show interest in the 2025 joint marketing campaigns being held in every district."
