In the men's weekly world golf rankings announced on June 30 (local time), he earned 0.7419 points and jumped 80 spots from last week's 271st place. The previous day, he claimed victory at the KPGA Gunsan CC Open held at the Gunsan CC Tournament Course (par 72) in North Jeolla Province. After securing his first KPGA Tour win at the KPGA Championship, which concluded on June 22, he has now achieved back-to-back victories in two consecutive weeks. Over the past two weeks, his world ranking has soared by an impressive 188 places.

Scottie Scheffler (USA), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, and Collin Morikawa (all USA) maintained their positions in the top five. Oldrich Potgieter (South Africa), who claimed his first-ever victory at the PGA Tour Rocket Classic, climbed 74 spots from last week's 123rd to rank 49th. Among Korean players, Im Sungjae is ranked 25th, An Byeonghun is 47th, Kim Joohyung is 58th, and Kim Siwoo is 64th.
