A man who stole luxury watches worth approximately 150 million won from a secondhand luxury store in Gangnam, Seoul, has been apprehended by the police.
The Seoul Gangnam Police Station announced on the 30th that they had urgently arrested a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of aggravated theft and are currently investigating him.
He is accused of breaking into a secondhand luxury store in Gangnam District around 2 a.m. on the 26th, after smashing the glass door with a hammer while wearing a helmet, and fleeing with five luxury watches, including Rolex watches, that were on display.
The total value of the stolen items is reported to be approximately 150 million won.
Based on closed-circuit (CC) TV footage and other evidence, the police arrested Mr. A in Gwangjin District on the same day and are investigating the exact circumstances of the crime.
