About 50 participants, including current students, alumni, and prospective students, attended the event. It provided an opportunity for self-development during the vacation period and served as a time to strengthen communication and bonds among members of the local community.

The meeting began with a simple ice-breaking activity called "Making a Stand," which encouraged natural interaction among the participants.

President Lee Geunyong then personally emphasized the founding philosophy, educational values, and history of Daegu Cyber University, as well as its contributions to society, and shared the university's vision.

In particular, the admissions promotion team highlighted the strengths of online education through the "2025 Admissions Briefing Session," providing detailed information on application procedures and scholarship programs. The team also introduced opportunities for diverse groups, including working professionals, homemakers, and retirees, to design learning paths that suit their needs.

Jo Ara, a student from the Department of Play Therapy who participated in the meeting, said, "It was very meaningful to meet and communicate face-to-face with classmates whom I had only met online. I felt a renewed sense of affection and belonging to the university, and the sincere advice from the professors was a great encouragement."

President Lee Geunyong of Daegu Cyber University emphasized, "Education at a cyber university goes beyond simply taking online classes. We plan to continuously expand programs like this regional meeting, where we meet students in person in various regions and provide real opportunities for growth."

Daegu Cyber University will continue to regularly hold meetings and special lectures across the country to maximize the advantages of cyber education and to broaden opportunities for exchange and participation among students.
