Construction of 367 Apartment Units Proposed
with Specialized Exterior Design
Doosan Construction has won the contract for the reconstruction project of the 'Sanupin Apartment' in Gocheok-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, valued at 136.3 billion won.

Doosan Construction announced on the 30th that it had been selected as the contractor after gaining the support of union members at the general meeting for the selection of the Sanupin Apartment contractor, which was held on the 28th.
The Sanupin Apartment Reconstruction and Maintenance Project will newly develop 367 apartment units and auxiliary welfare facilities across seven buildings, ranging from three basement levels to 13 above-ground floors, at 57-9 Gocheok-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul. The construction period is set at 33 months from the start date, with a construction cost of approximately 136.3 billion won (excluding VAT).
Doosan Construction received a positive response from union members by proposing an exterior design featuring the We've brand pattern and a main gate modeled after brand signage. The center of the complex will be landscaped as a Central Park and Forest Garden, providing a relaxing space in harmony with nature. Community facilities within the complex will include a senior lounge, multipurpose hobby classrooms, a daycare center, and a golf practice range.
The Gocheok-dong area offers excellent educational conditions due to its proximity to renowned school districts in Seoul, such as Mok-dong and Sinjeong-dong. Within a 1-kilometer radius are Yangcheon-gu Office Station (Subway Line 2), Guro Station, and Guil Station (Subway Line 1), and there is convenient access to the Seobu Expressway. Anyangcheon Riverside Park is located a five-minute walk east of the complex, while Gocheok Sky Dome is situated to the south, providing outstanding leisure and cultural infrastructure.
Doosan Construction is actively seeking to expand its business in downtown Seoul. The company has also secured the contracts for the Banghak Station Urban Complex Project and the East Ssangmun Station Urban Complex Project, which are the first and second urban public housing complex projects in Seoul (hereinafter referred to as 'Urban Complex Projects').
Doosan Construction stated, "We will repay the support of union members with sincere construction and responsible completion," adding, "We will continue to strive for product development and differentiation that meet customer needs to further strengthen the competitiveness of the Doosan Construction brand."
