Nominations for the '2025 Ichon City Culture Award'

Ichon City in Gyeonggi Province will accept nominations for candidates for the '2025 Ichon City Culture Award' from July 1 to July 8.
The Ichon City Culture Award is given to individuals who have contributed to the development of the region's culture, arts, or sports. The city will receive nominations in both the culture and arts category and the sports category, and will select one final recipient.
For the culture and arts category, candidates must have contributed to the development of the city's culture and arts through creative research activities and the presentation of works across the entire field of culture and arts, or have brought honor to the city by achieving outstanding results in major domestic or international competitions. For the sports category, candidates must have contributed to the training and development of outstanding athletes, the promotion of sports participation, or have brought honor to the city by achieving excellent results in major domestic or international sports competitions.
Eligible candidates are those who, as of the announcement date, have resided in Ichon City for at least three years, have Ichon City as their registered domicile, or have worked for at least three years at an institution or company located in Ichon City. Previous recipients are excluded.
Nominations may be made by heads of towns, townships, or neighborhoods, as well as heads of relevant institutions or organizations. The nomination must be submitted to Ichon City along with a recommendation letter, a record of achievements, and supporting documents.
The city will select the recipient through a comprehensive evaluation of the candidate's achievements and contributions to the local community by the Ichon City Culture Award Selection Committee.
