On the first day of July, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to be mostly cloudy, with showers forecast between the afternoon and evening.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system located south of Japan on this day. Morning lows will range from 22 to 24 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to rise to between 28 and 33 degrees Celsius.
Waves in the seas are expected to reach up to 0.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West and South Seas, and the concentration of ultrafine dust is forecast to remain at a 'good' level.
An official from the meteorological administration advised, "In areas where showers occur, there may be gusty winds accompanied by thunder and lightning. Please pay attention to facility management and safety to prevent accidents."
