A fire broke out on June 30 at Seongbuk-dong Byeolseo (Seongnakwon), a designated scenic site in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, prompting a response from fire authorities.

According to the police, at approximately 12:45 p.m. on the same day, a report was received that an unidentified fire had started in the main building of Seongbuk-dong Byeolseo.
The fire department quickly dispatched equipment and personnel to the scene and issued Response Level 1 at 1:43 p.m.
So far, no casualties have been reported.
Seongbuk-dong Byeolseo, formerly known as Seongnakwon, is designated as Scenic Site No. 118. As a villa garden from the Joseon Dynasty, it is a cultural heritage site that has well preserved the original form of a traditional Korean garden.
