Hwasun County (Governor Gu Bokgyu) announced on the 30th that the "Hwasun Namsan Healing Music Concert with Summer Hydrangeas" was successfully held on the 28th in the area around Namsan Park.
This concert was organized so that both residents and visitors could relieve everyday stress and find peace of mind through the melodies of music harmonized with the beautiful summer hydrangeas blooming in Namsan Park.
Hwasun Namsan is a representative local attraction in Hwasun, transformed into a year-round natural retreat within the city with lush forests, well-maintained walking trails, and a light park that boasts a stunning nightscape.
The performances began with the Gideon Band, followed by Korean traditional musician Kim Sanok, vocalists Kim Yeeun, Jung Jooyoung, and Gu Sumin, as well as singer Jung Dongha, all of whom received enthusiastic support from the residents.

Governor Gu Bokgyu of Hwasun stated, "I hope that the Namsan Healing Music Concert will provide residents with a comfortable time to enjoy music and find peace of mind," and promised, "Marking the third anniversary of the 8th popularly elected administration, I will dedicate the remaining year to restoring livelihoods, stabilizing the lives of ordinary citizens, and delivering highly effective county administration centered on youth policies."
Governor Gu especially emphasized, "In line with the new government's policy direction, we will continue to innovate county administration for 'a new Hwasun where residents are happy.' In addition, we will make every effort to ensure that four major projects for Hwasun's development are included in the government's national agenda: the establishment of the Gwangju-Hwasun metropolitan railway, the creation of the Jeonnam-Gwangju advanced medical complex, the development of new growth engines in former mining areas, and the designation of the Hwasun Dolmen Site as a National Garden."
