According to the city, the monthly recharge limit will be raised from 300,000 won to 1 million won. As a result, users can receive up to 70,000 won in incentives, equivalent to 7% of the recharge amount.

The Yangju Sarang Card can be used at approximately 8,800 affiliated merchants within Yangju City, including restaurants, supermarkets, hair salons, and private academies. The card is contributing to increased sales for small businesses and revitalization of local commercial districts.

A Yangju City official stated, "To help restore the local economy, we are expanding the issuance of local currency. In addition, starting in September, we are working to apply a discount rate of up to 10% by securing national funding. We will provide tangible benefits that both citizens and small business owners can truly feel."

Affiliated merchants for the Yangju Sarang Card can be checked through the 'Gyeonggi Local Currency' app. Business owners who wish to newly affiliate can apply online via the Gyeonggi Local Currency website or register in person by bringing their business registration certificate to the Job and Economy Division at Yangju City Hall.
