BNK Financial Group officially launched its women's leadership development program, "BNK WIN'S (Women In Network & Synergy)," on June 27.
This program was designed to help female talents within the group grow into leaders across various sectors regardless of gender, and to enhance organizational diversity and inclusiveness.
The launch event was attended by 30 female managers from BNK Financial Group. The event was made even more meaningful by the surprise visit of Chairman Bin Daein, who personally encouraged the participants.
The special lecture for opinion leaders was delivered by Oh Myungsook, an outside director of BNK Financial Holdings, who previously served as the president of the Korean Society for Engineering Education and currently serves as the president of the Association of Korean Women Scientists and Engineers and the Korean Federation of Women’s Science and Technology Associations. Oh's lecture was well received by participants, as she shared insights on women's leadership and their roles within organizations.
Participants shared their impressions, stating, "It was an opportunity for genuine communication and exchange beyond formal networking," and "As a female manager, I gained a broader perspective and deeper insight," expressing high expectations for the upcoming programs.
A BNK Financial Group representative stated, "BNK WIN'S is a program that reflects the management philosophy of the group and the CEO, enabling female managers to grow as leaders without discrimination." The representative added, "It will not only foster leadership but also contribute to spreading a flexible and rational organizational culture." They further said, "We will continue to introduce and expand HR policies that ensure various leadership programs and fair evaluation and compensation regardless of gender, so that female employees can fully demonstrate their capabilities."
BNK WIN'S consists of mentoring lectures and a practical, hands-on curriculum aimed at strengthening the core competencies required of female leaders and expanding networks among female talents within the group. The program will be held regularly once a month.
