ByTeams is an AI agent solution that automates the core tasks of a Technical Program Manager (TPM) in technology organizations, including schedule management, technical research, risk response, meeting facilitation, and reporting.

ByTeams enables AI to understand and interpret code from GitHub and comprehensively analyze team communications on platforms such as Slack and Jira, allowing anyone to easily track project progress. It detects duplicate tasks and bottlenecks that occur during collaboration among multiple teams in advance, maximizing development efficiency and helping developers focus on their core coding responsibilities.

Jake Kim, CEO of ByTeams, experienced recurring inefficiencies in technology organizations firsthand while leading development and project management at Apple. With multiple entrepreneurial experiences and as the founder of xApple, a community for former Apple founders, he possesses a deep understanding of both technology and business. He co-founded ByTeams with Anurag Kapale, an AI researcher from Amazon who shared the same awareness of these common problems. With this investment, ByTeams plans to recruit top talent from major tech companies and further enhance its solution by focusing on factors that hinder communication and development productivity within organizations.

Jake Kim, CEO of ByTeams, stated, "We are addressing the core inefficiency issues in organizational management that most technology organizations face," and added, "We aim to become an essential AI solution that must be implemented alongside coding AI in high-tech companies that prioritize technological innovation and organizational efficiency."

Brian Yoo, Partner at Mashup Ventures, commented, "Recently, as development productivity increases, the complexity of project management tasks is also rising, which is why we see high growth potential in the market for AI solutions that automate these processes. ByTeams, with its hands-on experience at global big tech companies, accurately identifies on-site challenges and demonstrates rapid execution, making it a team with significant growth potential."
