"We Will Do Our Best to Achieve Substantive Policy Improvements"
Woahan Cheongnyeondeul, the company responsible for Baedal Minjok's logistics services, announced on June 30 that it held its first win-win roundtable on June 27 at Baemin Academy Seoul with "Baemin Friends," a gathering of Baemin store owners, and "Baeramo" (Safe Delivery Riders' Group), a Baemin Connect rider community.
This roundtable was organized so that, for the first time, store owners and riders could sit down together to share their respective challenges and work toward creating a sustainable, mutually beneficial delivery culture. Baemin policy managers were also present at the event, leading to discussions on practical improvement measures for a better delivery environment. Based on feedback collected at the event, Baemin plans to produce and distribute a "Pickup Zone Guide Kit" to help streamline the food pickup process.
Baemin is pursuing this gathering not as a one-off event, but as a regularly operated program, and plans to expand it into actionable programs such as policy development, content production, and system improvement based on the opinions shared during the roundtable.
A Woahan Cheongnyeondeul representative stated, "We will continue to do our best to spread a culture of practical communication based on mutual respect and trust, and to make substantive policy improvements that reflect voices from the field."
