Officially Added to the Menu at "CUPBOP" in Fort Bliss, Texas
Aiming to Raise Global Awareness Among U.S. Military Personnel
Nongshim announced on June 30 that it will officially introduce Shin Ramyun as a menu item at the "CUPBOP" store located within the Fort Bliss military base in the United States.
Fort Bliss, located in Texas, is an extra-large military base with a resident population of about 170,000. At the CUPBOP store inside the base, a total of three Nongshim ramen menu items will be offered: Shin Ramyun, Shin Ramyun Tomba, and Soon Ramyun. The ramen is prepared on-site using instant cooking equipment, and various K-food toppings such as bulgogi, spicy pork stir-fry, and dumplings can be added on top of the boiled ramen, allowing customers to enjoy ramen according to their preferences.

Nongshim plans to expand the official offering of its ramen menu, including Shin Ramyun, to CUPBOP stores at major U.S. military bases such as JBER in Alaska and Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, starting with Fort Bliss. Through this, the company aims to further raise the global recognition of Shin Ramyun among U.S. military personnel.
Nongshim has partnered with the U.S.-based Korean food franchise CUPBOP and plans to continue various activities to promote K-food and Shin Ramyun not only in the United States but also worldwide. CUPBOP currently operates 260 stores in the United States and Indonesia, and plans to open additional stores in Canada and Dubai this year.
A representative from Nongshim's U.S. subsidiary stated, "U.S. military personnel are stationed in many countries around the world and come from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, so we expect this collaboration to significantly contribute to raising the global brand awareness of Shin Ramyun." The representative added, "We will continue to work with CUPBOP to promote the appeal of Shin Ramyun as a leading K-food brand worldwide."
