Naver Webtoon Offers Exclusive Content on French TGV for Summer Vacation Season

Collaboration with 'Moment', the Exclusive Platform for French High-Speed Trains
Nine Korean Webtoons and Six French Webtoons Added

Naver Webtoon announced on June 30 that it will provide webtoons on the French high-speed train 'TGV INOUI' and the low-cost high-speed rail 'OUIGO' to coincide with the summer peak season, during which the number of train passengers surges.

Naver Webtoon has formed a partnership with 'Moment', the exclusive entertainment platform for French high-speed trains, and will offer 15 original webtoons as exclusive content starting July 1. When passengers use the dedicated onboard network, they are automatically connected to the Moment platform, and this is the first time webtoons are being added to its offerings. Until now, the platform has featured content such as movies, documentaries, magazines, newspaper articles, and comics.

The Naver Webtoons available to passengers on French trains will include nine Korean webtoons and six French webtoons. The lineup features the original webtoon behind the hit drama 'Marry My Husband', as well as 'Death's Game', 'I Obtained a Mythic Item', 'Predatory Bride', 'Mercenary Enrollment', 'Operation: Pure Love', 'Killer Pedro', 'Return of the Mount Hua Sect', and 'White Blood'.

According to SNCF, the French National Railway Company, the number of TGV passengers exceeded 124 million in 2023. By exclusively providing original webtoon titles on France's leading transportation network, Naver Webtoon aims to strengthen its position as the number one webtoon platform in France.

Kim Yeojeong, head of the European Union operations at Naver Webtoon, stated, "This is an opportunity to introduce webtoons to many passengers during the summer vacation season," adding, "As we aim to add even more titles, we hope French users will naturally discover webtoons through this opportunity and become fully immersed in their fun and appeal."
