Husband Suspected of Killing Wife with Weapon
Then Taking His Own Life

The police have launched an investigation after a husband and wife were found dead following a late-night argument.

According to Suncheon Police Station and other sources on June 28, a report was received at around 11:10 p.m. the previous day from an apartment complex in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province, stating that "my mother was stabbed with a weapon."

Responding to the call, the police found the husband, a man in his 40s identified as A, collapsed in a flower bed within the apartment complex. They then discovered his wife, a woman in her 30s identified as B, stabbed with a weapon in the living room of their home.

Both were in critical condition and transported to the hospital, but ultimately died.

Based on witness statements and other evidence, the police believe that A, who had been in conflict with his wife B, first killed her with a weapon, and then jumped from the building himself.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, including questioning the bereaved family.
