Over 200 Collaborative Goods with 20 Brands to Be Sold
Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 29th that it will be operating a pop-up store to allow customers to experience the Netflix series Squid Game Season 3 more vividly, coinciding with the release of the new season.
First, the initial pop-up stores will open at Suite Park on the first basement floor of the Gangnam branch and at Hyper Stage on the second basement floor of the Centum City branch. Visitors will have the opportunity to encounter iconic Squid Game characters. At the entrance of the Gangnam pop-up store, visitors will be greeted by 'Younghee' and 'Chulsoo', the symbolic figures of Squid Game Season 3, while at the center of the Centum City pop-up store, a mannequin dressed as a Pink Guard will be waiting for customers.
Shinsegae Department Store will also exclusively sell more than 200 merchandise items created in collaboration with 20 brands and Squid Game. Representative products include the Jegi and Gongginori two-piece play set from Odd Socks, Younghee and Chulsoo plush keyrings from Caple, mobile phone cases from Breeze Pie, a Pink Guard costume from Avva Studio, and ball marker sets, bucket hats, and women's short-sleeve T-shirts from J.Lindeberg.
After the pop-up stores at the Gangnam and Centum City branches conclude, additional pop-up stores are scheduled to open at Daegu Shinsegae and Times Square branches from July 18 to 31.
