HS Hyosung Marks First Anniversary with Launch of Volunteer Group

"Value Together Volunteer Group" Launched for Environmental Cleanup
Vice Chairman Jho Hyunsang: "We Will Share with the World and with Others"

To mark its first anniversary, HS Hyosung held a launch ceremony for the "Value Together Volunteer Group" and conducted environmental cleanup activities at a park in Seoul on the 26th.

HS Hyosung announced on the 27th that it had carried out environmental maintenance activities such as collecting trash and removing weeds at Seorae Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 26th, the day before. More than 30 employees from HS Hyosung, the holding company, as well as its affiliates in the Seoul metropolitan area, including HS Hyosung Advanced Materials, HS Hyosung Information Systems, and HS Hyosung The Class, participated in the event.

Seorae Park was adopted by HS Hyosung last year to commemorate the company's launch and to promote greater public use. This year's activities were also organized as an event reflecting the company's founding philosophy of contributing to the local community. Last year, ahead of the company's launch, HS Hyosung held a volunteer event at Purme Social Farm, and this year marked its first anniversary with volunteer work at Seorae Park.

Jho Hyunsang, Vice Chairman of HS Hyosung, served as the head of this volunteer group. Since 2014, he has led the volunteer group at Hyosung and continues to realize social value at HS Hyosung as well. At the launch ceremony, Vice Chairman Jho said, "We will continue to take meaningful steps to share with the world and with others," adding, "The Value Together Volunteer Group will take the lead in fostering a corporate culture of growing together and living in harmony."

After the volunteer activities, a small gathering was held for employees to share their thoughts. One participating employee said, "It was rewarding to spend the company's first anniversary in a meaningful way and to participate in community activities," adding, "I once again felt proud to be a member of HS Hyosung."

HS Hyosung plans to continue its social contribution activities aimed at coexisting with the local community, centering on the Value Together Volunteer Group.
