Daegu Public Facilities Management Corporation (Chairman Moon Gibong) will open the 'Sincheon Water Playground,' the nation's first riverside water park-style playground, on July 12, 2025.
In its first year of operation last year, Sincheon Water Playground attracted 42,283 citizens. After about two months of facility inspection and maintenance, the playground has been newly renovated to provide a safer and more pleasant environment for visitors.
The facility will operate for 44 days, from July 12 to August 24. On weekdays, it will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays, the hours will be extended by one hour until 7:00 p.m.
Admission fees remain the same as last year: 5,000 won for adults, 4,000 won for teenagers, and 3,000 won for infants and children.
This year, the internal space has been efficiently restructured to increase the maximum simultaneous capacity by 100 people to a total of 1,100. In addition, an online reservation system has been newly introduced to reduce on-site waiting times.
From July 1, advance reservations can be made via the Sincheon Water Playground website on both web and mobile platforms. Same-day admission tickets can only be purchased on-site.
To enhance visitor convenience, the corporation has prepared various amenities such as shaded rest areas and food trucks. A total of 57 staff members, including 25 lifeguards, will be deployed to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
