Dongmyung University announced on June 27 that it held a send-off ceremony on June 26 for 46 ROTC cadets who will participate in the summer enlistment training.
This summer enlistment training will be conducted in two sessions at the Army Cadet Military School, the world's largest officer training institution. The first session will take place from June 30 to July 25, and the second session will be held from July 28 to August 22.
At the send-off ceremony, Dongmyung University Vice President Lee Hwahaeng stated, "Through the summer training, you will develop physical strength and mental fortitude, learn the value of teamwork, and take your first steps as true leaders," adding, "I applaud the challenges and dedication of the cadets."
Jeong Kiju, the ROTC faculty advisor, emphasized, "This training is expected to take place amid heat waves and heavy rain," and added, "I am confident that the cadets will complete the training well and return even more confident than before."
The comprehensive officer commissioning evaluation will also be conducted during this training. Dongmyung University cadets have resolved to achieve outstanding results.
