While serving as policy secretary to the mayor of Seoul, she proposed a number of innovative ideas, including long-term rental housing, the 120 Dasan Call Center, and the Little Bus Tayo. During her tenure as president of the Seoul Institute of Technology, she established a dedicated current affairs research office to focus on timely issues, fostering an innovative, demand-oriented research culture. She is credited with making significant contributions to creating a safer and more convenient city for citizens by introducing data-driven solutions and the latest scientific technologies into Seoul's municipal administration.
At the inauguration ceremony on this day, Sung Eun Lim stated, "Fairness and integrity are synonymous with the growth and development of an organization," and added, "I will actively listen to and communicate with various stakeholders inside and outside the corporation to foster an even clearer and cleaner culture of integrity."
She continued, "Rather than focusing audits on disciplining employees, I will work to establish systems that enable prevention in advance," adding, "My goal is to make audits something that can be received as a 'thank you.'"
Seoul Energy Corporation is a local public enterprise operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to achieve energy self-sufficiency for the city. Its operations include district energy projects that produce both heat and electricity, as well as the supply and expansion of renewable energy.
