Democratic Party Nominates Kim Yongmin as Legislation Committee Secretary, Lee Soyoung as Budget Committee Secretary, Bok Giwang as Land Committee Secretary, and Lee Sujin as Welfare Committee Secretary

Kim Byungki, Acting Party Leader and Floor Leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, appointed Lee Soyoung as the ruling party secretary of the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts on June 27.

Before the plenary session on the same day, Acting Leader Kim announced the appointments of standing committee chairs and secretaries that had become vacant due to cabinet and party personnel changes during a general meeting of party lawmakers.

Lee Choonseok was nominated as the candidate for chair of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee, Han Byungdo was nominated as the candidate for chair of the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, and Kim Kyohung was nominated as the candidate for chair of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee.

Additionally, Bok Giwang was appointed as secretary of the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee; Kim Yongmin as secretary of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee; Lee Sujin as secretary of the Health and Welfare Committee; and Lee Soyoung as secretary of the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts.
