On the morning of June 25, fire sirens rang out in the heart of Centum City, Busan.
Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (President Kim Taeyeol) conducted joint fire drills and industrial accident response training with Haeundae Fire Station Centum 119 Safety Center at Centum Venture Town on the same day.

This drill was based on a scenario simulating a complex disaster situation in which an industrial accident and a fire occur simultaneously during work. Participants followed procedures that closely resembled real accident situations, such as providing first aid to victims, extinguishing initial fires, and evacuating the building, which allowed them to experience firsthand the importance of an immediate response.
The highlight of the drill was the hands-on training component. Participants learned how to operate actual equipment by handling training fire extinguishers and hydrants themselves. In particular, conducting the drill on-site at Centum Venture Town, rather than at an external safety experience center, led participants to respond that it was "an effective training session."
President Kim Taeyeol of the agency emphasized, "Accidents can happen at any time without warning," and added, "Today's drill was not just a mandatory procedure, but an opportunity to develop practical response capabilities to protect the lives of colleagues and citizens." He also stated, "We will continuously address any shortcomings through regular inspections and training."
Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency is strengthening various safety response systems with the goal of creating a "sustainable industrial ecosystem" that not only fosters the ICT industry but also ensures the safety of tenant companies and citizens.
