On the 26th, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital held a mobile Prenatal Preparation Class at Yeoncheon Sureul Art Hall in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do, for employees of the Yeoncheon County Facilities Management Corporation.
This lecture was organized to systematically guide participants through the entire process of pregnancy and childbirth, from preparations before birth to postpartum care.
During the lecture, Joo Sung Eun, head nurse of the Delivery and Neonatal Unit, served as the instructor and delivered essential and practical information to prospective parents, including the process of preparing for pregnancy, health management for pregnant women, precautions during childbirth, postpartum care, newborn health management, and how to respond to emergencies. The session received a highly positive response.
Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital explained that this program, which provides specialized education in areas with low medical accessibility and vulnerable childbirth infrastructure, will play an important role in alleviating local residents' concerns and improving the childbirth environment.
Director Song Hyun stated, "To bring life and vitality to the local community, practical medical support is necessary," and added, "We will continue to provide systematic support for safe pregnancy and childbirth, and work closely with the local community."
Meanwhile, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital was recently designated as a regional childbirth institution for the Maternal and Child Medical Care Cooperation Pilot Project, organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Based on this pilot project, the hospital plans to strengthen its role as a key hospital for mothers and newborns and to establish a comprehensive support system throughout the entire process of pregnancy and childbirth.
