Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Suhyeon) will accept applications for the '3rd Quarter of 2025 Youth Basic Income' from July 1 to August 11.

Eligibility is limited to those who have resident registration in Yangju City and were born between July 2, 2000 and July 1, 2001. Applicants must also have resided in Gyeonggi Province for at least the past three consecutive years, or for a total of at least ten years.
Eligible recipients will receive up to 1 million won per year, with 250,000 won provided quarterly regardless of employment status, income, or academic background. The payment will be made through the Yangju Sarang Card. In particular, recipients of basic livelihood benefits may opt for a lump-sum payment instead of quarterly disbursements.
Applications can be submitted via Gyeonggi Province’s job platform ‘Jobaba’ (apply.jobaba.net). Applicants must attach a copy of their resident registration certificate issued during the application period (or use MyData automatic submission). Recipients of basic livelihood benefits must also submit a certificate of recipient status.
An official from Yangju City stated, “The Youth Basic Income program is a policy that supports young people’s independence and invigorates the local economy,” adding, “We will actively promote and guide the program to ensure that all eligible individuals can apply.”
