A total of nine organizations selected,
with 60 million won in support
Ulsan City has selected a total of nine organizations for the "2025 Private Organization Contest Project for Promoting Safety Culture Campaigns" and will actively implement the initiative from this month through December, aiming to enhance citizens' safety awareness in daily life and strengthen disaster response capabilities.
This project is being promoted to establish a safety culture by leveraging the capabilities of private organizations that have consistently been active in the fields of safety and disaster within the region.
The city comprehensively evaluated the validity and necessity of the project, last year's performance, and the presence of similar or overlapping activities, ultimately selecting nine organizations and providing a total of 60 million won in support.
Of these, eight are ongoing projects and one is a new project. The selected organizations will carry out various campaigns related to everyday safety and experiential education programs.
The selected organizations and their projects are as follows: ▲Ulsan Citizens' Coalition for Safe Living: On-site safety education ▲Ulsan Marine Corps Veterans Association: Guidance activities for mandatory life jacket wearing ▲Korea Freedom Federation Ulsan Branch: Campaigns for proper traffic culture and nurturing green forests ▲Ulsan Youth Guidance Association: Guidance activities to prevent illegal parking and stopping in school zones ▲Ulsan Safety Monitor Volunteer Association: Everyday safety campaigns and disinfection of apartment complexes ▲Ulsan Council for the Movement to Live Right: Campaign for complete stops when turning right at intersections ▲Korean Red Cross Volunteer Association Ulsan Council: On-site disaster safety classes ▲Ulsan Citizens' Safety Forum: Education on wildfire prevention, evacuation procedures, and fire extinguishing methods ▲Ulsan Safety School: On-site safety experience expo (new project).
