KT Partners with Nutanix Korea to Support Cloud Transition

KT announced on June 27 that it will collaborate with Nutanix Korea to support B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) customers in their transition to the cloud.

Nutanix is a global IT company headquartered in Silicon Valley, USA, providing Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (Hyper-ConvergedInfra, HCI) services to approximately 27,000 customers in over 150 countries. HCI is a solution that supports enterprises in adopting and utilizing cloud technology, enabling integrated management of both on-premises servers and cloud resources on a single platform.

KT will cooperate with Nutanix Korea in areas such as service development using HCI, customer technical support, and marketing. Based on this partnership, KT will introduce the 'Cloud Line Service,' which combines Nutanix's HCI solution with data services such as corporate internet and dedicated lines. The Cloud Line Service provides integrated infrastructure?including essential security features, backup, and servers?on a monthly rental basis.

The Cloud Line Service is designed to enable customers?including corporations, public institutions, and local governments that need to upgrade aging infrastructure?to transition to the cloud quickly and reliably.

Byun Jaekeun, CEO of Nutanix Korea, stated, "We are pleased to support the modernization of IT infrastructure for domestic customers through our collaboration with KT. We look forward to jointly enabling a smooth transition to cloud environments that meet the specific needs of enterprises."

Myung Jehun, Head of Service Product Division at KT Enterprise Division (Executive Vice President), said, "Through this partnership, KT has established a foundation for customers to efficiently and flexibly adopt cloud-based IT infrastructure. We will continue to expand customer-centric data services in response to the rapidly changing domestic and global business environment."
