Business Agreement Signed on June 26
Focusing on "Improving E-Book Accessibility for Digital Inclusion"
The Korea Publication Industry Promotion Agency announced on June 26 that it had signed a "Business Agreement to Improve E-Book Accessibility for Digital Inclusion" with Kyobo Book Centre Co., Ltd. and Aladin Communication Co., Ltd. on June 26.

This agreement was promoted to enhance e-book accessibility for information-vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities, and to create an inclusive reading environment.
The main points of the agreement include: ▲joint cooperation to improve accessibility features of e-book viewers; and ▲the establishment of a cooperative system to distribute highly accessible e-books and to create an accessible reading environment.
The Acting President of the Korea Publication Industry Promotion Agency stated, "This agreement is an important starting point for realizing the public value and diversity of information access," and added, "We will continue our efforts to enhance digital reading accessibility for information-vulnerable groups by cooperating with various private companies and institutions in the future."
