Cube Entertainment announced on June 26 that the boy group NOWZ has captivated the Greater China region with their pre-release track "Fly Freely (Feat. Yuqi (YUQI))."
The Chinese version of "Fly Freely," the pre-release track from NOWZ's (Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, Siyoon) first mini album "IGNITION," ranked number one on the QQ Music new song chart in China as of this day. In addition, Yuqi, who produced the track, also reached number two on the same chart with her newly released local single "We Are All The Best," signaling a successful double hit for Cube Entertainment’s senior and junior artists.
Yuqi is actively supporting NOWZ not only by producing "Fly Freely" but also by participating in challenges with (G)I-DLE members. The behind-the-scenes video documenting the production of "Fly Freely" revealed the sincere effort Yuqi put into the project for NOWZ, moving many fans.
The "Fly Freely" challenge craze is also heating up in the Greater China region. On Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, the "Fly Freely" hand dance challenge continues to rank high on the challenge charts, maintaining its popularity.
"Fly Freely" is a new song from NOWZ, who has declared a rebranding, and captures the complex emotions of youth searching for direction amid endless anxiety, expectations, and self-doubt. Following the Korean version, in which all NOWZ members participated in writing the lyrics, a Chinese version was released in response to the enthusiastic love and interest from global fans.
Having proven their buzzworthy status as the "flagship rookie of ZALPHA" with their pre-release track, NOWZ is expected to continue their global momentum with their first mini album "IGNITION." NOWZ's first mini album "IGNITION" will be released on July 9 at 6 p.m.
