For the remainder of his term, Superintendent Lee presented the following as core policies: strengthening history and peace-unification education, establishing and enhancing character and life education, reinforcing basic education in mathematics and science, opening the Gwangju AI Education Center in February next year, and constructing a global youth comprehensive sports center.

Superintendent Lee cited the following as major achievements over the past three years: a decrease in the number of students with insufficient basic academic skills, an increase in the advancement rate to higher-level schools, and strengthened competitiveness of vocational high schools. He also explained that by increasing the number of dedicated basic academic skills teachers from 8 to 87 and strengthening the operation of the Basic Academic Skills Support Center, the proportion of underperforming students was reduced to below 1%.

In terms of customized learning support, he highlighted improvements in academic performance through the operation of the "365 Study Room" and the "One High School, One College Admissions Specialist Director" program, as well as increased enrollment rates resulting from the restructuring of vocational high school departments and the introduction of Meister high schools. He assessed that the "Student Global Leader World Tour" project served as an opportunity to promote the spirit of the 5·18 Democratization Movement internationally and to foster mature civic awareness.

Superintendent Lee also described the designation of Gwangsan-gu as a Special Educational Internationalization Zone, the pilot operation of the Gwangju Special Educational Development Zone, and the establishment of AI Factory Classrooms in 158 schools as "priming water for nurturing talent in Gwangju." He stated, "We will cultivate Gwangju's talent together with the local community and create a virtuous cycle in which these talented individuals contribute to the further development of Gwangju."
