NC AI, the artificial intelligence (AI) subsidiary of NCSOFT, announced on the 26th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for "technical support and joint business cooperation" with Sandbox Network (hereafter Sandbox), a leading company in the multi-channel network (MCN) industry. The signing ceremony, held the previous day at the Sandbox office in Yongsan, Seoul, was attended by Yeonsu Lee, CEO of NC AI; Pilseong Lee, CEO of Sandbox; and Doti, creator and Sandbox Chief Creative Officer (CCO), among others.
NC AI is currently promoting the K-AI project using its self-developed large language model (LLM), "Barco LLM," and Sandbox will actively cooperate to utilize and expand the adoption of this model. Sandbox currently has partnerships with more than 200 popular creator teams, including Gamst, Yellunnie, and Gangnam.

Through this collaboration, the two companies will provide AI support to help domestic creators expand globally. NC AI's real-time translation engine, already applied and operated in games, translates real-time content such as chats, fan meetings, and live broadcasts hosted by creators. Unlike general translation, this engine converts gaming terminology, chat slang, and abbreviations into language that fits local culture. It supports four languages: Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese.
The "voice acting" technology also helps creators build global fandoms without borders. This technology can automatically dub short videos in more than ten languages, reproducing the creator's actual voice tone and emotions. For example, by inputting a short video of Doti speaking, the system allows Doti to communicate with global fans using his own voice.
NC AI also offers technologies that help users create content such as games, videos, webtoons, advertisements, and animations quickly and easily. Technologies like sound effects, voice synthesis, and animation generation enable the easy production of high-quality videos, which would otherwise require significant investment. Creators can enhance their content competitiveness on global platforms by using AI-generated character motions and a variety of sounds.
Creators can also utilize "NC AI Art Fashion," which generates fashion-specialized images. This technology allows users to easily create and transform fashion-related content?such as model poses or marketing images for products?simply by entering text. Ten major domestic fashion companies, including F&F, which owns the MLB and Discovery brands, are using NC AI's technology. Through NC AI Art Fashion, creators can produce their own merchandise or virtual avatars.
CEO Lee said, "We will do our best to help creators actively utilize a variety of AI technologies, including NC AI's Barco model, to further strengthen their unique identities and open up a future where they can communicate freely with global fans."
