The Overseas Market Development Delegation is a program that Bukgu has been implementing since 2023 in collaboration with the Gwangju Jeonnam Office of KOTRA. It was established to support export expansion and market diversification. This year, the delegation will be dispatched to Malaysia, where, starting from November 3, a four-day program will include opportunities for entering major local distribution networks and export consultation sessions.

The eligible participants are SMEs in the daily consumer goods sector?such as beauty, cosmetic, and food products?with headquarters located in Bukgu. Ten companies will be selected based on criteria including export readiness, need for support, and market potential. Selected companies will receive various forms of support, including buyer matching, interpretation and translation services, partial airfare coverage, and marketing assistance.

From September, Bukgu will further support the delegation in achieving tangible results by facilitating connections with local suppliers, providing SNS marketing, and supporting live commerce initiatives. Companies wishing to participate can download the application form from the Bukgu District Office website and submit it via email.
