Busan Student Character Education Center to Operate 'Mindful Harmony Program' for Elementary Students Busan Student Character Education Center operates a residential Mindful Harmony program. Provided by Busan Office of Education

This program was established to foster students' sense of community and to strengthen character education in schools. In particular, it is designed to help students naturally acquire the core character values of communication, empathy, and consideration through hands-on activities.

The 'Mindful Harmony Program' will be conducted as a one-night, two-day residential program. On the first day, activities include a welcoming ceremony (featuring K-POP and special effects), K-culture experiences (traditional archery and group drumming), challenge activities (indoor rock climbing and golf), and a recreation session called 'Geumjeongsan Arcade.' On the second day, students will participate in a self-understanding activity called 'Precious Me' (making bouquet dolls), and receive traditional etiquette education through 'K-Etiquette' (wearing Hanbok, bowing, and taking certified photos).

All participation fees, educational expenses, meals, and transportation for students will be fully covered by the Busan Student Character Education Center. The fact that anyone can participate without any financial burden is particularly noteworthy.

Director Kang Naehee stated, "I hope that through this Mindful Harmony Program, students will have a valuable opportunity to develop an understanding and respect for themselves and others through a variety of experiences. In particular, by directly learning and experiencing Korean traditional culture, they will be able to appreciate both the value of identity and character."
