On June 26, GL Research analyzed that MGEN Solution is expected to benefit from increased policy investment in AI fire and safety solutions.

MGEN Solution is currently restructuring its business to focus on AI-based disaster safety solutions and broadband private communication networks. In particular, the company is emerging as a beneficiary of government policy by concentrating on the development of advanced disaster response systems such as "Alphashot," "EV Drop-Type Fire Blanket," and "AI Autonomous Firefighting Robot."

Park Changyoon, a researcher at GL Research, stated, "Amid the government's policy direction to strengthen industrial safety and disaster response, MGEN Solution has a high potential to benefit as a supplier of AI-based safety solutions."

He explained, "In particular, the 'AI Autonomous Firefighting Robot' for responding to high-risk industrial sites is a strategic product that can simultaneously meet demand from both public institutions and the private sector, in line with the growth of the firefighting robot market." This product incorporates the company's proprietary technology and is manufactured using an OEM method. He further noted, "Especially since it can be linked with Alphashot, the related business is expected to see full-scale growth as the firefighting robot market expands in the future."

Researcher Park added, "It is relatively difficult to extinguish electric vehicle fires with general powder extinguishers, so initial response using fire blankets is important." He continued, "The company's fire blanket system (EV Drop-Type Fire Blanket) has undergone demonstration tests to verify whether it can completely submerge only the battery, which is the main cause of electric vehicle fires, in water and confirm the actual extinguishing of the fire."

According to GL Research, MGEN Solution's operating profit in the second half of the year is expected to turn positive, and the company is assessed to have entered a phase of full-fledged growth in its ICT and AI-based fire and disaster response business.
