Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience continued heat and mostly cloudy weather on the 26th.

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will come under the influence of the edge of a high-pressure system located over the southern seas of Japan on this day. The morning low is expected to be between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius, while the daytime high is forecast to range from 27 to 30 degrees Celsius.

Waves in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters are expected to reach up to 0.5 meters, and ultrafine dust concentrations are projected to remain at a 'good' level.

An official from the Meteorological Administration stated, "Daytime temperatures in Gwangju and inland areas of Jeonnam will rise to around 30 degrees Celsius, and the maximum perceived temperature will exceed 31 degrees in many places, resulting in widespread heat." The official also advised, "Infants, the elderly, pregnant women, and those with chronic illnesses are particularly vulnerable to heat-related illnesses, so please pay special attention to health management."
