The "Family Communication Workshop," which began at 10 a.m. in the Park Jaehyeok Room on the fourth floor of the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office, was organized in collaboration with the Yeongdo-gu Family Center. A total of 17 discharged veterans and their family members participated.
The workshop consisted of psychological counseling and hands-on programs. In the morning, Daewoon Cho, director of the Suyeong-ro Psychological Counseling Center, gave a lecture on healthy communication methods within families. In the afternoon, participants explored hobbies and relieved stress by making business card cases with Jungyoon Park, CEO of Laeder Gloria.
The Veterans Support Center provides a variety of employment and entrepreneurship support services for discharged veterans who have served in the military for five years or more, including one-on-one career counseling, job information, support for education and training expenses, and career transition allowances. Ten centers are operating nationwide, and related information can be found on the Veterans Support Center website or by phone inquiry.
An official from the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office stated, "We will continue to expand a variety of customized programs to further enhance the emotional stability and quality of life for discharged veterans and their families."
