Dongmyung University Entrepreneurship Students Move into Seomyeon Shared Office... "Field-Centered Startup Growth"

Startups founded by students from the Department of Entrepreneurship at Dongmyung University (President Lee Seunghak) have recently moved into '0.9M,' a shared office that serves as a major startup hub in Seomyeon, Busan, injecting new vitality into the local startup ecosystem.

The teams that have moved in include Zeromakers (CEO Kwon A-eun), GenLab (CEO Kim Hyunjin), the Korea Accelerated Learning Association (Lee Sunghyun), and prospective entrepreneur Park Jongmin. All are students from Dongmyung University's Department of Entrepreneurship (headed by Noh Seongyeo). From March to June, they sequentially established themselves in the shared office and began full-fledged entrepreneurial activities.

Building on practical entrepreneurship knowledge and problem-solving skills acquired through their coursework, they are refining their business models and accelerating on-site business validation. Dongmyung University is also providing multifaceted mentoring for the resident startup teams, including business plan development, marketing strategies, and pitch competency enhancement.

Kwon A-eun, CEO of Zeromakers, said, "We are growing rapidly by applying what we learned at school to our actual business," adding, "The Seomyeon shared office provides excellent startup infrastructure and networking opportunities, which has been a great help in expanding our business."

Kim Hyunjin, CEO of GenLab, also commented, "Being located in a central commercial area with high foot traffic allows us to directly gauge brand awareness and customer response, making this a meaningful experience. We will continue to repay this support with even more innovative services."

A Dongmyung University official stated, "The Department of Entrepreneurship is focused on cultivating practical entrepreneurial talent beyond academic theory, and this case of moving into the shared office is seen as a model example for youth entrepreneurship in the region."

The Department of Entrepreneurship at Dongmyung University operates a hands-on curriculum tailored to each stage of the startup process, achieving ongoing results through customized education and field connections that span the entire cycle from pre-startup to commercialization.
