Dongsin University announced on June 25 that it has initiated international exchange cooperation with Uzbekistan's UBS (University of Business and Science) to foster global talent.
On June 24, Dongsin University signed an agreement with UBS in Seminar Room 1 of the Central Library to promote global educational cooperation. Through this agreement, the two institutions will collaborate for mutual development and the cultivation of global talent based on practical educational exchanges, including the operation of a 2+2 dual degree program, student exchange programs, and joint research initiatives.
The two universities held in-depth discussions and achieved results regarding the '2+2 Dual Degree Program.' The program will cover a wide range of academic fields, such as Global Business, Hotel Tourism, IT, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Students will study at UBS during their first and second years, and at Dongsin University during their third and fourth years, ultimately earning dual degrees from both institutions. The program will be divided into English and Korean tracks, offering intensive curricula, and both universities plan to establish appropriate selection criteria and scholarship systems through further discussions.
The two institutions also actively explored the potential for expanding joint research and collaborative projects, faculty and researcher exchanges, and cooperation in medical and scientific fields.
Lee Juhee, President of Dongsin University, stated, "With this agreement as a starting point, we look forward to engaging in practical exchanges in various areas such as dual degree programs, student exchanges, and joint research, so that both universities can grow together and establish a model for fostering global talent." She added, "We will continue to expand internationalization and overseas exchanges to further strengthen our global educational capabilities."
