"Mobility Startup Collaboration"... Renault Korea to Open First Booth at Korea's Largest NextRise

Infotainment and Connectivity Services Equipped in Grand Koleos
Discovering Promising Startups and Networking
Introducing the Collaborative Ecosystem

Renault Korea (CEO Stephane Deblaise) will participate in NextRise, the largest startup exhibition in Korea, to be held at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, from June 26 to 27, 2025.

This year, for the first time, Renault Korea will open its own exhibition booth and directly showcase collaborative technologies developed with its mobility sector startup partners.

Renault Korea also took part in NextRise last year, but at that time, the director in charge of open innovation at Renault's headquarters in France introduced the company's automotive industry innovation strategy through a conference. This year, Renault Korea will set up a booth to focus on exhibiting infotainment and connectivity technologies based on the openR panorama screen installed in the Grand Koleos.

Four of Renault Korea's startup partners will participate in this exhibition. These include Dreamace, which has developed web and app services based on the Naver Whale browser; Obigo and Smashlab, which are jointly developing game content for the panorama screen; and Cinemo, which has provided connectivity technologies to enhance in-vehicle personalization and connectivity.

During the exhibition, Renault Korea will demonstrate its infotainment system, introduce examples of collaboration with partner companies, and conduct networking sessions with promising new startups.

There will also be presentations on mobility technologies. At the conference on June 27, Regis Brignon, Director of Software and Systems at Renault Korea, will deliver a presentation on the theme "Building an Innovative Automotive Industry Ecosystem with Startups." He will share details about the startup collaboration model that Renault Korea is establishing, as well as real-world cases of applying innovative technologies.

Since 2023, Renault Korea has been operating its own program, "Startup Open Stage," to discover promising startups. Some of the technologies developed through this program have already been applied to actual vehicles. Notably, the infotainment system based on the openR panorama screen installed in the Grand Koleos is a result of such collaborations.

Renault Korea plans to use its participation in this year's NextRise as an opportunity to expand cooperation with startups and accelerate the acquisition of future vehicle technologies.
